Insulating your attic is the #1 way to save on heating and air conditioning bills. And right now Federal Tax Credits are available.

Insulation Inspections

To evaluate your home’s energy usage and performance, Casual Comfort Insulation offers insulation inspection of your home’s attic, walls & basement.  According to Energy Star, a well-insulated attic can help you save up to 20% or more on your heating and cooling energy bills every year.

Our visit includes checking your existing attic insulation levels and immediately letting you know if you are losing money through inefficient insulation.   An under-insulated home loses up to 40% of its conditioned air through the attic, costing you money.

With energy costs rising, insulation becomes more important to home and business owners with each passing season. Whether to keep out the cold, or keep the cool in, maximizing your R-values can pay for itself many times over the lifetime of a building. Casual Comfort Insulation estimators know of and offer a dizzying array of products to button up your building in every location, bringing you the greatest value and efficiency

Is your attic costing you money?

Is your attic costing you money? All it takes is a quick peek to find out. If your attic floor is insulated but the wood beams (joists) are still visible, you probably don't have enough. But even if you can't see your beams, that's still no guarantee that you have enough insulation. The best thing to do is measure. Ask us to have one of our experts from Casual Comfort Insulation do a free atticinsulation analysis.

Do Different Installation Methods Make a Difference?
The walls, ceilings, and floors of your home are full of odd shaped cavities and obstacles like plumbing, air ducts, and wiring. For your insulation to work effectively, it must completely fill around these obstructions without gaps or voids and the attic must be insulated to Department of Energy recommended levels. Cellulose insulation is the preferred attic insulation as it provides for greater R-value per inch, is class 1 fire rated and is a mold inhibitor and insect repellent. Maximum value and fast return.

50% or more of all homes are under-insulated in the attic, costing YOU money and our country resources.

Superior Attic Insulation Upgrade for Your Home
Cellulose insulation forms a seamless blanket of natural fibers that provide outstanding protection from the elements. Best of all, on the hottest and coldest days, (when you need it most) Cellulose insulation won't lose R-value like fiberglass. Cellulose insulation has an R-value of 3.8 per inch (nearly twice as much as blown fiberglass). We also offer Stabilized Cellulose that locks in place and eliminates shrinkage.

The US Department of Energy now recommends R-49 or 12-14 inches of insulation in your attic. Retrofit Existing Homes

Drill & Fill Method.
If your home was built more than 20 years ago, it may be that you have NO INSULATION in the walls. Simply remove a wall plate and you should be able to see the insulation with a flashlight. If not, you could significantly reduce your heating and cooling bills by having Casual Comfort Insulation expertly dense pack insulation into the wall cavities. We work in a timely manner, leave no trace that we ever worked on your house, except you'll be able to brag about your low utility bills!

New Home Construction - Dense Pack Net and Blow

"About half of all wall cavities in residential construction are nonstandard in width and height or obstructed with wiring, pipes, and other things. Any void area in conventional batt insulation can reduce the R-value significantly". See our section on Dense Pack Cellulose Insulation.

Custom Fit For Your Home
Installation is critical in determining how insulation performs in your home. How well does it fit in different size wall cavities and around countless obstacles? Is it cut and patched in? Or is it custom fit? Cellulose insulation is sprayed or blown into walls, conforming to your home and surrounding you and your family with a seamless insulation system.

Fiberglass batts, on the other hand, are cut and pieced together, leaving gaps, voids, & areas of compression.

A Difference You Will See, Feel, and Enjoy
Installing Cellulose insulation in new or existing homes is one of the best decisions you can make for yourself and your family. Walls are fully and tightly insulated, forming a monolithic thermal barrier. No more gaps. No more voids. No more drafts. Just years of comfort.
