Owens-Corning PINK Fiberglass

Owens-Corning invented fiber glass insulation. For over 50 years we've improved, innovated and even reinvented home insulation to provide you with products that deliver the best in energy savings and year-round comfort. We are committed to the recycling and re-use of glass materials, recycling more glass in manufacturing our products than any company in the world. And we continue to search for ways to meet our customers' need for quality products that are friendly to the environment.

America's Most Preferred Brand of Insulation
Owens-Corning PINK Fiberglass insulation is factory engineered to insure the best thermal and sound control performance available. In fact, each one of our insulation products can help you:

Save on Heating and Cooling Costs
Properly installed PINK Fiberglass insulation protects your home with a thermal barrier that can help reduce costly energy loss. This helps you save on fuel bills during both heating and cooling seasons.

PINK FiberglassIncrease Your Home's Comfort
A well-insulated and weather stripped home is comfortable with an inside temperature of 65 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter. A poorly insulated home requires a temperature at least 3 degrees higher to maintain the same level of comfort.

Increase Your Home's Resale Value
According to nationally syndicated real estate columnist James Dulley, if you upgrade your attic insulation to recommended levels for your area, at resale you should expect to receive up to 200% of the cost of a do-it-yourself job.

Conserve Natural Resources
By increasing the insulation in your home, you are decreasing the amount of energy used to heat and cool it. That means fewer pollutants are released into the atmosphere. More importantly, fuel plants need to produce less energy, which means you're helping conserve the world's dwindling energy resources.

Maintains Insulating Power Over Time
The R-value stated on each package of PINK Fiberglass insulation is the R-value delivered - the day you install it, and for years to come.

Will Not Absorb Moisture
Because glass does not absorb moisture, PINK Fiberglass insulation, will not hold water, thereby resisting any permanent loss of R-value.

Will Not Settle or Deteriorate with Age
Properly installed PINK Fiberglass insulation, despite its age, will not settle or deteriorate, thus insuring that the insulating value is maintained.

Noncombustible
The glass fibers in PINK Fiberglass insulation are noncombustible. This means they will not burn. In fact, this natural fire resistance is unaffected by moisture, evaporation or time, which makes PINK Fiberglass insulation a very reliable product.

QuietZone batts are dimensionally stable and will not slump when properly installed in wood stud wall cavities of the appropriate size. QuietZone acoustic batts have no labeled R-value as they have been designed and tested specifically for noise control applications.

Application

This product is designed to install as part of a system which uses QuietZone acoustic products to effectively manage sound and control noise by incorporating four basic acoustic principles:

Optimum wall and floor construction together can provide the most effective noise control performance. This is why it is important to offer system solutions, because a room is only as quiet as its weakest link.
